Behind Francis Rise is the belief that development continues throughout life. Curiosity, personal experiences and opportunities to discover and create can encourage and support development, in children and adults alike.

Shared experiences can connect people, create happy moments and support development.

When we create, discover, experiment or learn something new together, more than ideas can emerge. There may be encounters, memories and new possibilities, and sometimes lovely conversations that might never have happened without that shared moment.

Ideas can set something in motion.

Products and carefully chosen recommendations can accompany such ideas and experiences. At the heart of Francis Rise, however, are people, their possibilities and the inspiration to turn an idea into something of their own.

BEHIND FRANCIS RISE

I’m Francisca.

My understanding of development has been shaped by many years of educational work in Denmark and Norway and by my studies in pedagogy in Denmark.

Throughout that time, I have often returned to the question of what helps people develop, discover their own possibilities and enjoy good experiences with others.

With Francis Rise, I hope to share a little of this thinking through ideas and inspiration that invite you to discover, create and experience things, on your own or with others.

Curiosity can lead to experience.

Experience can lead to development.

And shared experiences can bring us closer.
